All too often the performance review process is seen as a compliance activity with no real impact or outcomes on reward or development – a task set by HR that they don’t have time to undertake! This can lead to poor outcomes, frustration or just all together avoiding doing performance review. Getting the review process right, including quality, high impact conversations, is critical to improving individual and team performance.
We work with clients to develop a review process that connects the reviewer and the individual and allows them to focus on the delivery of outcomes aligned to both their needs.
This includes the timing and frequency of reviews, the content, and the focus on setting goals for the following period. We support those conducting the reviews by providing training and coaching to have high impact conversations and deal with the tough and uncomfortable issues that may need to be raised.
